Last Day Leaf Pickup

Reminder: The last day for leaf pick up will be Wednesday, Nov. 20. After that day, residents will need to take leaves themselves to our Village compost pile.

Leaf Announcement

The colors are beginning to peak out, and before you know we'll be raking, blowing, mowing all those leaves up. Couple reminders as we get ramped up for the season.

  1. Leaf Pick-upResidents are asked to rake and/or dump their leaves along the curb/edge of the street. NOT INTO THE STREET, please. Please do not bag leaves at the curb - our vac unit won't like them! ;-)
  2. Be mindful of where the storm catch basins are, in case it would rain while leaves are piled in the street, that it does not block the flow of stormwater
  3. Residents are encouraged to haul their own leaves if capable, to the Village yard waste collection site, at the end of Utility Drive - Please dump leaves on the GRASS pile which is the pile on the south side of the lot (nearest the elevator).
  4. Please do not bag leaves and drop them off. Dump the leave and use the plastic bags over again. Plus when we mulch this grass/leaf mixture we don't have it contaminated with plastic bags.

Pick-up dates will be announced soon, and more importantly, when the last pick up day will be by Village of Employees will be posted as well. Thank you for your cooperation.
