If you have received the census letter, The Village is asking everyone to please fill out your census online. This allows the Village to received funding for projects. The 2020 Census can be found at www.my2020census.gov

Many have asked about recycling and what to do with it. We've been in contact with the Putnam County Commissioners and they are working on a solution or temporary arrangements. The issue is that the companies that accept the material from us and the County have put restrictions on the materials and want it to be "cleaned" before they'll accept it due to the COVID-19 virus.

We'll keep you updated on the status of recycling the best we can. For the time being if you can store it, great. If not, we fully understand if you need to place the material into the household waste stream for the normal weekly garbage pick up.

Due to the circumstances that surround the COVID-19 virus, the Village of Ottoville Administration has decided to close the Municipal Building to persons entering the building until further notice. We will continue to have the offices open for our Fiscal Officer and Tax Administrator and both will be available by phone and email.
