M & W TRAILERS, INC.

M & W Trailers Inc. was founded in 1956 by Elmer Markward and Lavern Wannemacher. Wannemacher retired in the mid 1970's, while Markward still remains active. The current stock holders for the company are: Elmer & Rosemary Markward, Kenneth Markward, Thomas Markward, Jerold Markward, and Scott Markward.

M & W Trailers is a manufacturer of custom built aluminum livestock trailers, truck bodies, and vans, as well as other specialty equipment. They are also full line trailer distributors of the following vehicles:

The company consists of 12,000 square feet of building for service and trailer repair, 850 square feet of sales and leasing offices, a conference room, and 3600 square feet of parts rooms and storage capabilities.

The company repairs and warrants the trailers they sell as well as all other makes and models, in their 8 trailer bay repair shop, which includes automatic aluminum and steel welders, conventional electrode welders, plasma cutters, oxy acetylene torches, portable drills and drill presses, grinders, and air and hydraulic tools. The building also houses a 10ft air over hydraulic press brake, and a 10ft hydraulic shears along with presses for trailer and truck suspension repairs.

Steel and aluminum fabricating is another specialty at M & W Trailers. We have a variety of steel sheet metal ranging from 22 Ga. through 1/4" thick, and aluminum sheets from .040 through 1/4" thick, which can be cut from 4ft x 10ft sheets and formed to your specifications. We also have an abundant supply of steel and aluminum tubing, angle, channel, and bar stock from 20 - 24ft lengths.
