Joel D. Knerr, MD, established his practice of Family Medicine in Ottoville in March of 1984. A Fellow of the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Knerr serves patients of all ages for all types of medical problems, and is one of only a handful of family physicians still providing obstetrical care in the area.
Dr. Knerr has active staff privileges at Van Wert County Hospital, where he serves as Chief of Family Practice, and is enrolled in numerous managed care programs in the area. Staff nurses Karen and Deb assist Dr. Knerr with office and laboratory procedures. Sue and Rita, the clerical staff, provide friendly assistance with scheduling, billing and insurance claims.
